No more thumb pain
I dont know why, but my right thumb has begun hurting like i had pulled a muscle or like the joint isnt sent right. To bend it in would be like torture.So i bought this to hold it in place for a few hours. Only happens occasionally but when it happens i cant stand it.Not carpal tunnel. No other fingers feel this way.It is bulky and uncomfortable to wear dor ling periods of time. While i like the rigidity, cant do much with my hand once its on.. it is strong, seems to be stitched well. Easy to use. And value for the money. But i dont recommend for long term use for bare skin. I will need to make a mit of some kind to be between my skin and the fabric

Great wrist brace
The Thumb Spica Splint really helps keep your wrist from excessive movement. If you don’t need it, you don’t have to put your thumb through it, you can move it out of the way by attaching the thumb strap to the brace.Without the brace, I could not put weight or pressure on my wrist to push myself up of a recliner chair, but I can with this brace.I’ve worn it for over 48 hours straight, and it’s still comfortable.

Thumbs Down For Bad Velcro
This could be a 5 star item but…The Velcro used for the thumb strap is already worn to the point that it barely works. Once the edge stopped locking down tight, anything and everything catches the strap edge…annoying and frustrating. This is an important part of this item since it helps keep the thumb from excessive flexing. Only had the item for about 1 week so not much wear and tear, should last much longer. The rest of the brace is excellent.

Straps may separate from the velcro piece at the end
Form and fit are good. Wrist strap separated from the velcro hold at the end and I had to repair it, so not very impressed with the quality aspect.

Try It! I Love It!
I have at least a dozen different braces I have tried. I broke the bone at the bottom of my hand,under my thumb. It created a nasty bone spur that is so painful and I’m waiting for medical insurance to kick in at 90 days. So I’ve tried many braces and this is without a doubt the one best for me. Thank You!

Útil para niños en mi experiencia, niño de 10 años con mano más o menos pequeña. Se adapta con una tira con velcro en el pulgar y otra en la muñeca. A diferencia de otras, aún para manos pequeñas, es capaz de apretar puesto que las tiras encuentran velcro en todo el contorno
