I thought discs weren’t for me until I tried the small, so that’s cool. The rim thing helps to grab it but I still need 2 fingers to get it out. Easier to put in than a cup, but a cup is easier to remove since it doesn’t go so high. If I was a beginner, I’d recommend a small disc with a loop attached for the best of both worlds.

Love these!
These are great! I’ve been a disc user for years and I love these! Keep in mind every woman’s body is different. I have had a natural childbirth and still need to use the small and medium sizes. Improper sizing can cause leaking, whether it is too big or to small. When first trying discs, I went off the advice to choose a bigger size if I have given birth, and this turned out to be bad advice – Every time I would cough or sneeze it would cause a leak.As for this getting “stuck” like some people claim, I think this sounds like inexperienced users and probably incorrect sizing. Don’t let this scare people off! Every woman’s body is different though. If the cup has gone farther up, it can be pinched between the pointer and middle finger and then pulled out. Squatting over the bathtub to remove can help if someone is a new user. It is definitely a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, you won’t regret it!

Update:I think I may have received the small size instead of the regular that I ordered. It’s fine, accidents happen. But I checked the specs on the last menstrual disc I purchased (also ecoblossom) and the regular supposedly has the same capacity as that one. After many leaks and emergency changes (literally SPRINTING to the restroom), there is no possible way they have the same capacity. Even my heaviest days with the old one didn’t emptying nearly as much as this one doesGood for light-to-moderate flow, but the larger size required many changes during my heavy days. Have a backup on heavy days, just to be safe…

Worst design ever!!!
Negative star. I thought it got stuck. I struggled multiple times to remove it like 15 minutes. I’ve used other brands with a silicone string and if I started with this I don’t think I would ever continue to use disc. One as I move around it rotated who knows how many times. And then the little weird lip was in the back and the rod is useless.
