Sizing advice and brand comparison
Returning, but providing a review for sizing help. My daughter is 9 years old, 80lbs, 25″ waist. She’s tall and curvy for her age, but not overweight. The size chart in the description has an age range as well as weight and waist measurements for each size. I decided to purchase according to the measurements instead of age, and ordered an XL. They were too big. I’m not sure what guideline people are referring to when they say these run small. I believe a M (age 10-12) would fit her properly. Incidentally, I also ordered INNERSY Period Underwear for Teen Girls Cotton Leakproof Menstrual Panties 3 Pack https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07DLNDJFW/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_W547QE43Y4D00YE4WYZC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1. I got the size 10-12 years in those, which fit my daughter well. The two brands look almost identical (see photos), and I suspect they are actually the same manufacturer. However, the INNERSY felt a little more substantial in the leak-proof area. These Nalwort ones are also lined with light gray fabric, while the INNERSY have black lining. Having used period underwear myself for some time, I can attest that having the black lining is nice, as lighter colors will definitely stain. That said, these are about half the price of the INNERSY brand, so definitely economical.

Regular Underwear- NOT “Period Panties”
There is no way these are period panties. Maybe because the fabric is dark for hiding staining but no way will these hold any liquid. It’s literally black underwear. No idea why these have leaving reviews when it’s literally false advertising.
